Mayu’s passion for helping others, combined with her background in tourism, hospitality, and event management, laid the foundation for starting Cloud 9 Property Management with Peter. Her recent role as a Town Rejuvenation Officer in Iizuna has given her invaluable community connections from Iizuna to Myoko, allowing Cloud 9 to offer services that are not only professional but also deeply rooted in the local community.

Peter’s background spans hotel management in Australia and large-scale property management in Tokyo, and now extends to the countryside of Nagano and Niigata. With experience managing all types of accommodation—from business hotels to remote lodges and luxury beachside resorts—along with first-hand knowledge of extreme weather and disaster management, Peter brings practical insight and reliable advice built on real-world experience.
